Everything was fresh and yummy. the beef vegetable with cashews was really fresh and beef was really good. will definitely be trying the crispy beef next time.

We ordered a chicken dish and chicken fried rice.
We did not eat the chicken as the texture and colour was concerning and picked the chicken out of the rice. The flavour was bland. The portions were small for the price.
Was disappointed.
We live locally and was hoping University Gardens would be our Chinese take out option of choice. Unfortunately we will not return again.

Fantastic meal. It's my wife and I and we make 'dinner for 3' last for 3 dinners for the 2 of us. We'll always get the Lo Mein - mix up the flavour base but alway a fan favourite when dining with company. I haven't had a bad dish from University Garden

Food quality is excellent. However, the prices seem to be a bit high for the size of container received in the dinner for #. Used delivery service for the first time and it seemed reasonable for $7, however, when they food arrived and I had to pay, the price increased by another $2 charge which I have no idea why as it is not clear. I am assuming is was for the delivery service, but that is not clear on the website. With a tip that was on the total price, this has become a once or twice a year kind of meal due to the costs.
Again, food is excellent but the price and value is not there.

Honestly, my wife and i were disappointed and i am not a fussy guy, but the bean sprout lo mein tasted like the oil it was cooked in tasted old (not fresh) and perhaps should have been replaced earlier.
Also, both of our Egg Rolls had almost no bean sprouts in them, they were 80% empty! We had never experienced this before so we wonder if you are now buying the cheapest egg rolls on the market or was it just a fluke to receive hollow egg rolls.
So I am sorry to say we were not happy. My wife wanted me to call the restaurant but I did not so when this survey came to my email box I thought I should let you know. We will try one more time in the future to see if there are any improvements.
Perhaps a coupon or something like that will encourage us to try it again. You are after all my neighbourhood Chinese restaurant.

The food and service are one of the best in KW. Close, convenient, and hot. Portions/containers seem to have gotten smaller.
